How do I dye my hat black?

I know absolutely nothing about cloths or how to dye them. But I have this hat and I'm trying to dye it all black. The hat is one of those average every day baseball caps with the duckbill visor sticking out in the front. it's Brown in the front, brown in the back, and white on the sides. the front of the hat says Los Angeles in raised lettering the top part of the visor is white and the bottom is brown. The cap is 85% Acrylic and 15% wool. I just want to dye it all black how do i go about doing this?
