What are some cute hiking outfit ideas?

Outfits that aren't expensive..? I'm going hiking with a big group of people on friday and I want to look good.. it's a "blind date" sorta thing. what can I wear that is cute and sporty at the same time? Also, what are some cute hair ideas? I was thinking a high side pony tail and a visor.. you know, some kind of 80's do :) what do you think? any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks! :)
