Looking for information about a Red-orange and black tiger-striped spider in Michigan?

no spiders look like that but only in mexico so it is not a spider unless you went to mexico recently but i sounds like a slightly large potato beetle and they look like spiders but if you squish it it smells like a bad rotting fruit and grass smell. I hope this helped :)
