Application page on the LG Optimus (for U.S. Cellular)?

I've had the LG Optimus for a few months now and I've recently gotten tired of the Application page of the phone. I've downloaded GO Launcher for it but it really slowed my phone down a lot so I deleted it and now I was wondering if there was any way to change the layout of the App Page. Right now it scrolls and I'd really like it if it had pages like he home screen but I have no idea how to change it. I don't know if there's a App like Go Launcher that's free and does it but I'll give anything a try as long as it's free. THANKS :)
