How do i fix lg quantum at&t?

the touch screen isnt working. nothing happened to it that i know of. one day it just stopped working. i cant unlock the password because the whole left side of the screen doesnt wanna work,but the right side is fine. i just bearly got it the week before christmas. i dont know what to do.
