I have hair issues! Please help?

I am 16 and i have a receding hair line i don't think it is too bad but my job requires me to wear a Sun visor so i'm afraid that if i continue my job and wear the visor that my receding hair line will be so bad, since i'm at a young age and i don't have to pay for bills other than gas and car insurance should I purchase rogain, I heard that you get baldness from you mom's genes but my mom has healthy hair and and so does my grandpa, but my dad does have a receding hair line he's not bald but his is really bad.
