If Prince William had married Princess Victoria of Sweden, would the two countries merge?

Not in this day and age. The UK and Sweden would not have merged.It is possible that Victoria would have stepped down in favor of her brother,her next sibling.It is also possible that William would have remained heir to the throne for the UK and Victoria would have remained heir for Sweden,the two realms remaining separate.The countries' governments would have decided for the occasion.
