Sprung steel frame - what is it?

What is the name of the sprung steel wire-ribbon that is enclosed (usually in fabric) as the frame which "springs" to shape, and can be twisted to make the item flat? I've seen this used in laundry hampers and windshield sun-visors. I want to search for it to purchase it, but can't, as I don't really know what to call it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
